iMac 27" delivered today 22-1-2010. Going back today. This is my first iMac and if they dont get this sorted tomorrow I will be getting my refund. And they can stick their restocking fee where the sun dont shine. Very P.O.ed at the moment!

Its appalling Mine is going back. Continuous flicking across left to right AND regular one second blank outs. Disgrace

had it 8 days and it was fine, then woke up one morning and half of the screen was yellow and blacks were messed up. seems to be intermittent though.

On my 2nd imac 27'. Purchased from the same store " Best Buy " 2 weeks later and this one seems fine.Might be my imagination, does not seem as bright as the first one. Notice that the power plug was more snug than the other and does not get as hot either.

Scott are you sure your name isn't Bryan Bowler or Fowler. You sound awfully like the fellow who insulted and belittled a screen problem thread on Mac Rumors, even despite all the people around the world fighting this issue. Are you sure you're not an Internet mole planted by Apple to disguise the obvious problem?

Tons of problems with my new iMac(s). I'm effectively on my 4th one in about 3 months, and having significant screen flickering and blackouts with the latest 27" iMac w/ 512MB Video card and 16GB of system memory and 3.06GHz processor. My original problem of horizontal video tearing on the iMac when in mirrored mode and hooked up to external ACD is unresolved. Pathetic tech support and disingenuous customer service. This will be my last foray into Appleland. The way they've operated is sub-standard, the product is sub-standard. However, they are happy to charge a premium price for mystic and industrial design. I have very little good to say...

I feel bad for those unfortunate enough to have a screen issue on their iMac, but it really is far and few between. Before reading too much into this poll, you should know that the person starting this poll has been banned from a few forums for encouraging people to vote "Yes" on this poll. Sad, but true.

Lucky we have a poll and shame on the hijackers who try to belittle it just to further their agenda that everything is just peachy fine in Disney.. whoops sorry Appleland.

  14. MacLover said on Nov 21 2009, 17:11 PM:

Absolutely worthless poll. Also, the person who started it is campaigning people to vote Yes. Don't waste your time fueling his personal agenda.
