Mogli has been through so much and has won the hearts of so many. If many of you only knew what Mogli and his owner have been through, your heart would break and you would vote for Mogli. It takes a strong bond and a strong love to overcome what this poor dog has endured. Vote for Mogli!
I hadn't checked the site for several days since it wouldn't allow me to vote anymore. First of all, congratulations to the beautiful winner!! I was voting for Mogli, and since the voting rules were not posted, I thought I was being fair by voting once each day. Contests should be fun, and all this talk about cheating ruins the fun! I agree with Fight On . . . the rules should be posted!! There will always be people who cheat, but at least those of us who think we are voting fairly, will not be accused of cheating. Connie

I have the best idea. Set it up so that each person can only vote one time. That's if you want to find out which is the most popular. allowing multiple votes distorts that as many people are unaware that it's possible for one thing and there is different ways to be able to re vote. It then becomes a contest of "who knows how to vote more often rather than which picture is most popular. I understand that you want to bring more people to your site and allowing only one vote per person does not reduce that. In fact I would think it would bring more. For the focus would not be on how to re vote but rather finding more friends to vote!

Dorann, all I said to you was that there is nothing unfair about it not letting you vote again.. people are crying about it not letting them vote again. You're not suppose to. It's not the "program" allowing you to vote again in a timely matter, it has to do with your internet and IP address.. nothing to do with the pole itself. If a person gets to vote more than once, their computer's identification resets often resulting in the poll not recognizing that they have already voted.. and I brought up the multiple votes as I heard of people voting over a dozen times a day. As for the "How would you know about refreshing and trying to vote again..?? Ha,! Most would never even think of that...Unless maybe you tried..??? You know, it takes one to know one..? There is life beyond your computer!" I can bet you 99.9% of the voters here pressed refreshed to see if it lets you vote again or not, it doesn't take someone with a big brain to understand some things can be refreshed and redone again so I'm not sure why you're acting like this is some mastermind matter.. not that I ever even mentioned about refreshing a page.. I was saying people were able to vote on the cells over and over again. Your comment was a bunch of BS trying to counter things I said and sounded stupid. Yes, there is life among the computer, and don't question me about having one when you are sitting there replying to me. :) I work full time, go to school full time, volunteer, and have a fiancee.. I certainly have a life outside this computer. Not to mention, I am extremely young, love dramatics, and have come to enjoy this stupid bickering, it's entertaining- however it's not old, boring, and too many idiots trying to act like there's no cheating going on here and spewing worthless crud and pretending they have no idea what is going on. OK well I tried to vote again, it's been literally weeks since I voted, and it said I can't vote again. So not sure how other people are voting twice. I'm going to go ahead and end this poll. I'm going to have another in about a month, and I guess what I can say is that if people don't want to participate, I'll make it clear what happened, and if you're unhappy with the process, don't enter the contest. I love the interaction I get with everyone with this and I really don't want to end this format, so we'll try it again and see what happens. I hope everyone will settle down a bit, it's just a fun online contest, nothing too serious, so I'm hoping people can stop with the arguing and enjoy it for what it is. I love all my patrons and members as much as painting, so I hope everyone can take a deep breath, try not to take things too seriously, and just enjoy being a part of my group.
OMG - I didn't know everyone was getting upset over this poll - I'm sorry but I didn't see these comments until someone let me know. I hate that everyone is bickering over this, I want my art to be a positive experience all around and I do this poll because I'm trying to find a creative way to involve people more in my creative process. It's just plain more fun for me to make it about the people involved. I guess it's inevitable with something like this that there will be bickering. I've been a part of a TON of online groups, and they all have gotten into these kind of arguments. I really think it's just human. I wish it didn't happen, but I don't know how to stop it. If anyone has a better idea about how to do these polls let me know. A lot of other contests have people write vote under each picture in the comments, but honestly, with the number of people that participate, that's going to be to time consuming for me. I figure this is the fairest way I can do it. If you have your friends vote for you multiple times, then others can have their friends vote for their pics multiple times, so it's a level playing field. It sounds like sometimes the software isn't always bug free and doesn't let some people vote again like it does others, I don't know what to do about that. I've tried to vote twice just to see if it works, and it always tells me I already voted. I'm going to go try to vote again and see what it does.

This is truly getting ridiculous, she said, he said, they did this, they did that.. blah blah blah... As of today I am not going to read these comments any longer. I entered a contest to win a prize and I would love to win it, that is it. If I don't win so be it, I will congratulate whoever does and guess what? my world will not end! Well after reading the comments on how people are voting multiple times (once a day or more), I gave it a try. After casting my vote it said already voted, so I guess not everyone can vote once a day. Anyway I think that the owner of the site should make it so everyone can only vote once. Shame on all of the ugly posts and their posters.
Mogli's mom, then you may want to tell people on your friends list not to tell that people are voting on their cells several times a day to a fellow contender, as I just didn't make this up out of thin air and someone else has been spreading information on your part.

He is from my hometown forum and I though a friend, he is a troll and seems to be enjoying stirring up the pot. I ask that the owner of this site, who does not answer emails, delete all these comments. They are taking away from the fun of voting for the pic you like. I just want to say that both Nina and Mogli are beautiful dogs.I am only able to vote once,i've tried different things and still i only get the one vote.It's such a shame that this contest has to turn into such a fighting match.I know from winning the last contest that if your animal is picked by Rachel,of course you want to win.Isn't that why we enter a contest to win,nobody wants to lose but we can all do without all the back biting and snide remarks.Come on people were are not little children,let's play fair.I'm sure Rachel doesn't want all this fighting and neither do the rest of us.Nina's mom told me that she feels like dropping out because of all the bickering,sad it has to come to that.I told her to hang in there and may the best dog win.I am friends with both Sandy and Danna and as far as i am concerned they both have great dogs.Good luck to you both and Sandy you fought this long don't give up yet...........

It is now and hour later than I usually vote....so 25 hours later and it says that I have already voted again???? I am still unable to vote daily and don't believe that is fair at all. Is anyone else still having this problem?
I am still able to vote daily, but maybe it is easier for me because of the time difference, I live in another country. I vote at approximately the same time daily so there is no confusion. Once I voted at a different time and was told I had already voted, so I worked it out and yes I HAD voted that day...I suggest everyone allow for the time difference, regardless of whom they are voting for. Just a suggestion :-)
I have over 1300 friends on Facebook, Care2 and my private friends thru other forums voting for Mogli KODA. I am really insulted and disappointed that you would post that we are cheating. SHAME on you for posting such nasty words. I have voted in many of these contests and voted once a day for each animal. I voted each day for Kuper and others before. I guarantee if you were ONLY allowed to vote once the software would not allow you to do so. There are NO Stated rules that say vote once. I have been trying to vote for Mogli. At first I was able to vote once a day. now I can't vote at all. It keeps telling me that I voted when in fact I can not vote at all. Mogli is losing votes as i am not the only person who is having this problem.It doesn't seem fair. What makes you think Nina is getting multiple votes a day or daily? She isn't- she is winning fair and square and has had over 300 different people vote for her! After hearing how some people are voting MULTIPLE, MULTIPLE times a day, which isn't fair at all, I tried for Nina as well as others to do it more than once and it never let us- most of us from day one couldn't vote again. When you vote for something, it should be one vote per person. Nina has had nearly all her votes from different people, no one was going in daily or refreshing constantly to make her win. Just throwing that out there. That is BS people are saying it isn't fair they can vote a million times.. that's basically cheating. :)

When trying to vote for Mogli the past couple of days, it says I have already voted even though it's been over 24 hours. It seems my friends and I have been able to vote for 2 or 3 days in a row, but, after that, we all get the same message: "You've already voted!" Is there a limit to the times we can vote? Hello, I'm here to tell you that Mogli (and his owner) have had a very rough last few years. I've met Mogli personally last year on vacation and will post some of those images on my FB page (Tina, NM). He's a sweet, lovable, lick-you-to-death, sweetheart of a dog, even with his lameness and pain. Getting this painting would be such a boost of happiness and joy to everyone involved with Mogli...especially to his "Mom". VOTE MOGLI!
Fight On, I'm pretty sure it is suppose to be one vote per a person (as it only let's me vote once and it restricts you from doubling voting unless your IP changes throughout the day) but of course people aren't going to be fair and spend vasts amount of time voting multiple times when they find a way to.. competition isn't competition when you have one person voting 20 or more times for a pet. Imagine that! Guess its only expected as its not uncommon, but I would feel more proud of my pet being painted because that many people believed they deserved it though.
Nina has been a wonderful help for Sandy. She is a wonderful dog who takes wonderful care of Sandy, and is beautiful to boot. in addition to her service activities, she also gives Sandy something to focus on on days when her ALS is having a "bad day".

"Doug Dude"- How do you feel it's your place to judge others and accuse them of posting false stories? Sandy is the kindest and strongest person I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Nina is by far the most loving dog I've ever met. She's beautiful and well mannered. Nina is such a relief to Sandy's family and friends, because everyone can breathe easier knowing that Nina is there with her and is trained to help her in the event of danger (such as the house fire- I've seen the black marks that were left on the ceiling of the kitchen as a reminder of that day and what Nina did to help), or if Sandy falls or becomes ill. As for Mogli and Fupa, they are beautiful animals with amazing stories. Those two innocent animals have been through more pain and suffering than most humans ever have to go through. Good luck to all of you and Doug Dude, think twice before posting such a rude comment next time. Bekah.
Nina is a beautiful dog and a loving dog. It is to bad that they all can not win but please vote for Nina. There is so much that she offers her owner and her family from loyalty to peace of mind.
What are the rules on voting? Can a person vote more than once? Is this a contest on how many different people vote or on how many times a person votes?
Well said Heathr, I second you that no one has any reason to make fake stories here. I don't doubt the story of Nina, and she sure is a nice doggie but I'd like to speak for Mogli and his Mom. I and many of my friends have been following life of Mogli since he was a puppy (I got to know them on care2 long before FB) and all his mom says is true and there is much more of suffereing and fight for life than she tells her. Everything is recorded in numerous photos and videos. Those doubting and needing proof seach Youtube for Mogli and you'll see yourself. And even if he hadn't gone through so much I would vote for him. He's so adorable!
Some people, I guess, have nothing BETTER to do (or choose to do nothing better...) than to throw out harsh accusations about ANIMALS who can't exactly speak on their own behalf. I have had the GREAT pleasure of meeting Ms. Nina (and her Mom) and came away with the tremendous sense of love and duty that service animals provide. Nina is the real deal. She's so beautiful; it's hard to get past that, until you see her intelligence & commitment shining from her eyes. Like many of her Mom's friends, I feel a huge sense of relief in knowing that Nina is "on duty", and never wavers FROM that duty. She's beautiful in a hundred different ways. (AND she gives amazing pedicures.....)All animals are beautiful, to me, but having MET Nina and knowing the tremendous strength & service she provides, she'll always stand out in a crowd.
Having met Nina's owner, Sandy, who has ALS (Lou Gerrick's disease), and having met Nina..my vote has been cast for Nina. She is a gentle, service dog who not only saved the family from a fateful disaster, but is trained in many ways, to bring a phone to her owner, helps pull Sandy up the stairs and in many other ways. The person who said this story is B/S doesn't know what they are talking about.
Honestly, this is just a site to vote for who you want to win and I don't get why people are making comments saying people are giving fake stories. That is one harsh and rude accusation, it's not like these people are spouting some outrageous story that could never be true. For Mogli, you can see a site online asking for help for his wheel chair (I'm pretty sure his owner is not just looking around for free merch and wants a wheel chair for dogs just for kicks). The kitty I have no knowledge on but it's not like you don't hear stories of cats being burned all the time.. check out the ASPCA site. As for Nina, I'm a friend of her owners and know very well she is a service dog and her owner has ALS- I always praised Sandy for how well-behaved her girl was and how she is so well trained and it all made sense when she made the connection of her being a service dog for her ALS. No one on here is so desperate for a painting that they're going to make pity stories about their pets or themselves. There is no reason to say anything except praising the dogs and cats on here. Although I think all the pets are great, I'm rooting for you Nina! Especially since I always say how you need to go into modeling with Shiloh and how I want calendar full of pictures of you! ;)
Please pay no mind to heartless people who get some sort of sick enjoyment out of doubting others... I know Nina and the lady Nina services and know for a fact not only she is a great service dog, but a local hero for saving the life of her owner. I am sure Mogli is an exceptional dog on his own right that deserves the same respect as the others... saying that any of those recounts are B/S is wrong and heartless unless one have specific facts to back it up... In Nina's case, there are plenty of people that know Nina an love her for the service she provide to this amazing lady, Nina's beauty is an external quality, her drive to protect and help her owner is what makes this incredible husky so very special...
Luv ya Jim. Ban's on wolf dogs got voted down in California. Mogli is a very small amount so no worries. Wolf dogs are GREAT animals and are not unsuitable, nor are they wild animals when raised correctly. Any animal can be wild when not raised correctly. I rescued Mogli when he was 8 weeks old. This is a poll on a picture not a place to debate our thoughts. Please vote for my dog, we have had a tough few years and would like this painting. Thanks.
Mogli's mom is involved in a wolf rescue center in Southern California. I believe she is well aware of the nature of wolves and hybrids and there needs. She is not an irresponsible wolf dog owner her story is absolutely true.
Believe or not, you chose. I'm a neighbor of Mogli and have been following his several surgeries. Seeing any dog down is sad, but especially such a handsome, vibrant young dog.
I definitely believe Mogli's Mom when she says her story is true. I learned about Mogli from my FB friend, Dorann, and she would not recommend that her friends vote for something that was not completely aboveboard. Go Mogli!

Please vote for Nina, she is the gorgeous black&white, blue eye husky. Nina is my service dog. I suffer from ALS and Nina was trained to always by my side, to be ready to aid me at all hours of the day or night, and she takes her job very seriously... she is not only gorgeous, she is also my hero!.. Couple of years ago, she saved us and our home from a kitchen fire. I love her dearly and feel safe knowing she is watching over me! I want to thank all who have already voted for her!...
Please vote for Fupa, he is the hairless cat, number 6. Fupa is not supposed to be a hairless cat. He was set a flame by a neighbor kid. The kid doused him with light fluid and hung him by a tree and set him on fire. Luckily my son caught the little hooligan in the act and benched him for a clean set of ten. Since this incident he hasnt been able to regrow his hair correctly and the black spots you see on him are actually charred skin. Thanks so much for your consideration... Fupa's Mom

Please vote for Mogli, he is the wolf dog, number 5. Mogli is a handicapped pet, he cannot walk with his rear legs due to surgeries. We just ordered him a wheel chair so we can take him out.
