@Micromike Wow, so we have no choice but to do whatever our DNA "says" we should. What a bunch of deterministic BS. (And that's coming from a biologist). Get AIDS, douche, just don't give it to your wife.
Not everything I want is good for me. SO I don't give in to everything I want. That doesn't make me moral, just risk-averse. But it's kept me married and not having to lie about anything for nearly a quarter century. And I can look in the mirror and say "I love her. She thinks I'm a great guy, so I'll try to make her thinking right." I think Micromike is blaming his body for what his mind does.
I've never cheated, never will. It might be a basic instinct, but you can choose not to give into it. All those saying everyone does it are trying to make themselves feel better about their poor choices.
It's simple don't be with someone if you are going to cheat! Go be a single douche!
Or maybe people that cheat don't want to respond to a poll about it?
@Micromike Everybody cheats..... Is that what you keep telling yourself to make you feel better about your cheating. It is built in our DNA sou cheating is not a choice. You are sad. Own up to your own choices.
Lots of liars responded. Everybody cheats and most people lie about cheating. It is built into our DNA to make as many people as we can so we all cheat but only a few are honest enough to admit to it.
But it doesn't mean I can't appreciate Carter's mindset.
