Metro has already spent $862 million on the new EXPO line that will run through Mid-City connecting downtown, finally, to the beach. Another $1.5 billion is needed to finish the project by 2015. Do you think the expense of the line is worth the gain?

Yes: The EXPO line is greatly needed reducing our dependency of cars and oil. It will also reduce traffic congestion on the 10 Freeway and other areas.

No: I don't think I will use it and think the cost has been a waste.

Not sure: Am waiting to see when it is up and running.

It seems the poll is referencing the wrong choice and all the votes for the first choice are going to http://www.acepolls.com/polls/1118560 If you voted yes you should be able to go to http://www.acepolls.com/polls/1120541 to vote for this poll still, since you've only voted for a different poll. If you want to fix the poll just click on one of the options for share and use that code instead.

Incorrect TimeStamp, as well. It's 2 hrs. ahead.

Another "yes" vote here that didn't appear. Looks like they need to fix their polling script.

I voted yes but my vote did not show up. In addition, if our current bus system can serve as an indicator of how this new line will work; I think we might have something to look forward to. My only concern is the safety while riding, will there be vigilance against petty theives and vandals?

I want to be optomistic and think that people will leave their cars at home and use the Expo line, but I have my doubts. The car companies have brain washed us in believing that having a car is part of the American dream. Now a days no one walks anywhere any more, there are more than two cars per family.
