I definitely think he should end up with Seichan. They've been dancing around what they want for awhile. So much chemistry! It seems they understand each other better than anyone else does, and usually without speaking a word! Plus they're both strong-willed and intense. Seeing them together would make for interesting reading ;)

Seichan. I think the last scene in Doomsday Key is also about Seichan. She has a wall built up around her but inside she really is broken. She and Gray have this chemistry. She needs him. She wants him and vice versa. She knows that and he knows that. But they just keep denying it.
Seichan is great but very troubled and young. She deserves a great life but not with Gray. She needs to learn trust and grow. Gray needs Rachel.
Seichan: I think she and Gray as a couple would add more excitement to the books.
I have come to love the character of Gray and hope that he will not hurt Rachel or Seichan. Gray should instead untangle himself from the love triangle and move forward with more adventures.....till such time he can finally meet his match with someone as lovely and adventurous like LARA CROFT THE TOMB RAIDER (Well, this will definately be my dream pair)!
I think it's Seichan in the last scene with Gray. Yes, the lioness description says Seichan, but so do all of the non-verbal queues. The woman never said a word, but communicated her intent. That's the way those two always have worked. Rachel is Rome. Seichan has no home (apparently). And I think Gray is drawn to Seichan. He sees something in her that is stronger than anything Rachel has. So, Gray either has to end up with Seichan, or he needs to kill her. Cuz eventually, with so many bad breaks in life, she'll blow...
Rachel...good girl deserves the best guy and deep down Gray still love Rachel. Rollins can make a more interesting character out of Rachel by getting her to leave her hometown and join force with Gray and his team. Hope they will end up as a loving couple like Kat & Monk and Painter & Lisa.
Seichan, since I've liked her badass character from the start ;) Plus I think Gray has more chemistry with her than with Rachel.
I have talked my three best friends into following this series.. We all agree: Seichan. hands down. rachel is a lovely girl, but Seichan is either gonna love him for all he is... or kill him.

No doubt about it: Seichen. Gray and Seichen share their love of adventure and the bond in their training and backgrounds. Together in action they are a force to contend with. They complement each others strengths and weaknesses, but there's still so much mystery to them that it keeps it VERY interesting. Can't wait for the next book to see how the team kicks ass and Gray and Seichen's relationship develops!!
It's a no brainer! Seichan is the woman of mystery and suspense. She's very phsical and downright exciting. Those are the things are real man find sexy in a real woman. Their lifestyles are not meant for boredom and the sedentary. Gray and Seichan carry on with their lifestyles, rendevous in their down time and when the time is appropriate, both go out in a blaze of glory.
I definitely think Seichan is the better match. They have a common bond with their physical training and they can respect each other's strength. Also I think Gray needs someone exciting to keep him on his toes and to keep him stimulated, I don't think Rachel could fulfill this need long term. Also, Seichan is a broken soul in some ways and I think Gray is the perfect person to heal her as she trusts him, respects him (this is huge for her), and he too will keep her on her toes!
Rachel is so predictable; I just really do not want Gray with her. So I'm voting for the more interesting female - Seichan. Although acting tough, Seichan seems to be crying for help inside. She needs to learn how to trust someone again, and I think that Gray's the only person she is willing to trust right now. I am not worried about her double-crossing Gray again; she is starting to find it hard to do that. Just - please. Do not kill her. I have this very weird, very bad feeling that the words of the Last Oracle meant Seichan would die, not Gray. Although I'd hate Gray to die, I'd hate Seichan to die, too. :)
Seichan and Gray are an exciting, believable match. Their personal histories, and moral bases couldn't be more opposing, but with shared goals and a strong sexual attraction...this will make for a passionate, steamy, sometimes volatile love affair! And that's the 'Good Stuff'!! Both characters have so much to gain from time spent with the other. Sure, trust is an issue for them right now, but trust is earned over time, and Seichan has done plenty to prove that Gray is important to her...it's Gray's turn to reciprocate. Together, these two are a force with all sorts of possibilities, both professional and personally. Love it all James!!! Thank you for your stories!
Seichan, because she needs to have someone who she can trust, who can trust her back, and ultimately bring her back to the good that is always there just kinda scratching the surface. In the end, she is still bad enough to keep up with Gray and with the level of adventure in his life, he really doesn't need to "settle down". Though I think Rachel is an awesome character, too.
How about a real twist - both :) Since Gray is an upstanding kinda guy though, he's be up front and honest about it, and there would be open communication between him and between the two ladies!
Rachel because Gray needs something uncomplicated and trustworthy in his life. If one has a lot of drama at work you really don't need or want more at home.
I think he'd be bored with Rachel. She's sweet, but I don't think sweet is his type. Maybe he wants it to be, but in the end I think he needs the intrigue and excitement.
I have to go with the Rachel. You just never know if there's a story there to be told! I bet there's a little devil in there somewhere....
I really want to say Rachel but in the narrative Gray said that the chapter with Rachel had ended. Seichan told Gray to trust her, I'm really hoping that she's good.
Good Girls Go to Heaven. Bad Girls Go Everywhere. Seichan: 'cause I love them together. It's so sexual, attractive, tense, unexpected! For Gray's real life, I think that Rachel would be better. But it's a book! And with Seichan the history will be more exciting.
If there was a 'neither' option, I would take that! But... as there are only two options it would have to be Seichan.
I would have to say Rachel. There will always be trust issues w/Seichan and we all know that trust issues are deadly for a marriage...
I'm hoping that it's Seichan cos love is such a weird thing & sometimes a person that u hate ends up as the love of your life. Adding to that, Gray is a man of adventure & he'll fare better with seichan. But end of day, I think James should keep readers guessing for many more books to come because once the love mystery is revealed, there won't be much to look forward to yeh?
I would pick Rachel but know that Seichan would be more exciting at this point. Rachel is safe and so far seems easy to read where Seichan is complex and a renegade like Gray. The danger and fearlessness and lack of trust issues combined with that soft hidden side is alluring. I don't think Gray has finished growing enough yet to pick anyone for a long period of time but likes the idea of a happy ending with Rachel. I would guess he needs to experience some other ladies still. By the way, a debate errupted on how to pronounce Seichan between me and some other fans of yours, we all had a different take. Can you say it in a video (maybe you have and I missed it) or spell it out as pronounced. Well, whatever you decide for Gray...I am sure it will keep us turning the pages and hungry for more :-)
Had to vote for Rachel, given their past. Seichan, even with the obvious attraction, seems like it wouldn't work given Pierce's suspicions... It wouldn't matter how much they give for each other, there would always be that doubt in Grays analytical mind. We all know how relationships go when suspicions arise.

In the latest book, my guess was that the woman w/ him was Rachel. I am hoping it's Rachel too. Seichan is too complicated for him and the guy's life is already too complicated enough. But its best if he's got neither of them.
It's a good question.....I'd say BOTH due to different reasons.....But I voted for Rachel in the end.

I agree with most of the people on here. The last scene in the Doomsday Key does sound like he is with Rachel. However I was hoping and hoping it was Seichan. I think her character is so much more interesting and it will be cool to see what happens now that she works with Gray. Those two just do more together and are a lot more exciting.
I agree with John Walsh. That last scene in Doomsday Key has Rachel written all over it. But I'd rather see Gray with Seichan too. Rachel can't handle Gray. He's a wild spirit and Seichan is too.
Seichan... Rachel is the past...even thought there is history and chemestry...Gray needs to move forward. Seichan has more to her than we know I think and I think it could be a firey, interesting relationship.
Seichan's loyalty is questionable... I voted for Rachel but i'd rather Gray end up with no one... :)))))

The way the last scene was written, if it was Seichan, I'd be shocked. The tone of the scene clearly spoke 'Rachel' to me. Granted, there's the one 'lioness' descriptor, but every single other word points to Rachel for me.
Seichan does have more story potential and she is very mysterious and compatible with Gray, however, you never know if she is telling the truth or not. What happens if she stabs him in the back again.
Seichan is the woman for Gray...they are soooooooo compatible...yeah you're right Rachel is boring..no offense...she can't handle the enigmatic Gray...
