I guess that being the dean of Harvard Law School is not a qualification. It's more than Harriet Miers had, when the previous resident of the White House nominated her. Give me a break!

She is very qualified. The problem is that she is a right down the center moderate and will be replacing a conservative background but liberal voting justice. Her confirmation will move the Activist Robert's court even more to the right.

So nice you had to say it twice, Dave? Seriously. She's pretty far out there and is not willing to answer much, despite her article on how nominees should answer questions. She seems as two faced as one would expect from an Obama Nomination. Note my taking the high road and not using Obamination.

"a TYPICAL Obama appointment; follows his pattern totally!" Really? "Heck of a job Brownie!" Ring a bell? Hire a guy with NO emergency management experience who deals with horses to run the NATIONS emergency response system. Harriet Miers? Clarence Thomas (who's never talked or asked a single question in a case, just day dreams through the court and writes ridiculous opinions)? Hell, Sarah Palin. Politics is full of unqualified people. Now if the Republicans were running her, they'd be happily explaining why LESS law experience is better and more "real world" experience is needed. Republicans vs Democrats...Crips vs Bloods. My god can beat up your god.

Let's see: No judicial experience; almost no courtroom experience; moronically outspoken on subjects she has no personal experience in; therefore, totally unqualified...Yes, a TYPICAL Obama appointment; follows his pattern totally!

Dobie, "assuming she possesses at least minimum qualifications. Kagan does." She's never been a judge. Ever. ??

Elections have consequences. Obama won the presidency and that means he gets to have his pick be on the Supreme Court assuming she possesses at least minimum qualifications. Kagan does. While she is not who many people would pick to be on SCOTUS - she is who Obama picked. That is all that matters.

The party of NO would vote against their own mothers if advocated by the Democrats.
