    Imagine a candidate that thought the world was only a few thousand years old. That dinosaurs were an elaborate conspiracy foisted on Americans by elitist museums. That universal health care was actually bad for it's citizens. That the separation of church and state is a bad idea idea and that Christian teachings and theologies should be an integral part of our government's policies. Would you vote for this person? Would this candidate represent you? Just something to think about.

    I'm mostly a Democrat, but will also split my ticket for moderate Republicans that have a thoughtful platform. Tea baggers rarely think about the ramifications of some of their proposals, such as dropping Social Security and Medicare.

    I would vote for the best candidate regardless of party. If that happens to be a Tea Party candidate in a particular race, then sure, why not? Considering how much I've come to detest pretty much everyone running regardless of party, I usually end up voting for the lesser of the evils anyhow.

    Grandpa, why would you want the government to continue to provide social security and other programs when they can't fund them with all of the taxes that we pay already? Any service the Government gets involved with becomes a black hole for tax money. There has got to be a better option for us. The TEA in tea party stands for taxed enough already, and that is what the party is about.

    I would vote for anyone with a reasonably platform and common sense attitude towards government. Does all the Tea party candidates fir this? No But I don't rule out someone for just one particular view. That is just as bad as voting for a Democrat just because their Democrat. You should be voting for someone who you actually support.
