We've given the mainstream candidates a chance for far too long now and they have all f*cked this country up. how about we give someone like Ron Paul a shot?

I agree with David but whoever you support we need someone who can act decisively and provide a truly representative voice. if you go to www.lemonparty.org you can get views on both sides of the debate and their analysis is very clever

Its not the one at the top....its the same faces and names on the fringes that never seem to go away, Mikulski, Cummings, Cardin, Ruppersberger...I know all of these are Maryland politicians...but they have been around far too long..I am sure other states have there tired old names and faces too....its time to get some new ideas in place and get these old farts out .

Obama's bright, but has little charisma, and hasn't grabbed the headlines for a long time (other than OBL). The front runner on the Republican side wears a toupee. What's with that? Serious insecurity, apparently.

Obama ran on a promise of change. He now has a proven track record of pain. The faithful will still vote for him. There were several candidates I could vote for rather than Obama but to be fair I could vote for a one eyed yeller dog and a stray cat over Obama and Joe.

I think the Democrat's need a option over Obama. But in terms of Republicans I think its going to be hard for them to pick a person who can get the far Right vote and still draw some of the disgruntled Obama supporters who are independents. Obama actually will face some tough times ahead, because he has little success to draw from. Making promises the first time around works. The second term needs to have some success behind it. Obama has very little of that.
