    nothing is impossible.i suggest to take up this course if and only if u r ready to do hard work. do not compare this course to any other ordinary engg courses. ofcourse it takes more time.but the knowledge u get from this is enourmous.some ppl above said it is not a degree. it means they dont even know simple thing abt the course.THE DEGREE IS AWARDED.     I will not recommend anyone to do A.M.Ae.S.I. It is not that you cannot complete the course, I know at least 8-10 people who finished the course including myself and almost all of them finished their M.Tech and settled in very good jobs. I did my MS in Aerospace in USA, so it is well recognized as B.Tech/B.E in Aeronautical engineering even in abroad. Following are my reasons why you should not opt for A.M.Ae.S.I 1. A.M.Ae.S.I or any charter engineering courses are very easy to join but tough to finish them (In fact very tough to finish). 2. You will not have a specific time-table to finish and by the time you realize it, you will waste atleast 1-2 years. 3. You will not get proper guidance, material and coaching 4. Now it is very easy to get into regular engineering with lots of engineering colleges out there. 5. You will miss your engineering college life, you will regret a lot later in your life. 6. If you want to join this course as it is less expensive than regular engineering course then think twice. This is as expensive as regular engineering course if not more expensive than it.

    AMAeSI is definitely hard but not impossible like how some other people here are saying! I am currently doing my 4th semester and i have passed 8 subjects of Section A. True u have to work much harder than normal BE or B.Tech students but the knowledge you gain is far more than the others students, thats why the first 20 ranks in the GATE examinations are usually taken up by AMAeSI students! Hard work and determination. As for Job prospects? The sky is the limit. I recommend if your ready to study hard.

    well, i have completed diploma in electronics and telecommunication engineering from IETE-delhi its also a distance learning course like AMAeSI, now let know something about AMAeSI 1.Its is an govt. recognized course but not AICTE approved or UGC 2.Its very very difficult course, and there are few persons who kno about this course 3.its is easy to says 4yrs degree course but only few body can pass AeSI within 4yrs. 4.this course is for who they doing service like in airforce, navy, or other private complonies, if you have lower score in 12th or diploma then try to prepare for JEE, AIEEE, and join IIT, MIT, anna university, UP technical collage, punjab university or other top univesity in india, or you can study abroad for aeronautical or aerospace engg. but keep in mind that try to avoid AeSI for make your future
