    hasta hace unos anos atras elizabeth sobol no conocia la timba y en muy poco tiempo esta siendo capas de cambiar el curso de este estilo musical cubano en usa con proyectos como la rumba sinfonica,miami lbre (teatro musical),orrely stret o lo que esperabas y arros con mango ,con esto digo que es una profesional incansable que sabe siempre lo que quiere y una gran perosona

    I vote for Anejo Productions! They built a strong Timba presence in the SF/OAK bay area from the ground up, purely based on their passion for the music. Although they don't bring the big names to the states (thanks to the US Treasury Dept) they make every effort to find the small, no name groups and put them up on stage in an effort to aware fans that Timba doesn't have to come from the island. They also attempt to teach and educate people about timba because they want the COMMUNITY to expand (instead of their pockets!) My trips outside of the bay area are testament that Anejo has built the strongest timba contingent in the US as other timba joints don't come close when it comes to vibe, music or dancers. How many promoters can say that they've hosted the same timba party in the same spot for 6 years and counting? How may promoters know all their patrons by first name? That's why Anejo gets my vote. QUE VIVE LA CASA DE LA TIMBA!

    I agree Rafael is doing a hell of a job and one that most people cant even imagine. He has organized a very successful world tour of Cuban Salsa. He is very passionate about Cuban Salsa. It is people like him and the other nominees who keep this music alive!

    Rafael is doing a lot and has done a lot for prom,oting salsa, one should simply acknowledge that! Afterall, he is as well only a human being and we should not blame him for any imperfection link to any of this event, the only will of trying to get cuban salsa alive and fighting with other types music (rock, r n b, hip hop, etc...) is a great achievement...
